Local Journeys from La Gare

This is just a little list of the favourite places we have found over the years of exploring the area. If you find or know of any more that are worth mentioning please contact you via the contact page and we'll add to them for others to enjoy.

a) Nearest Beach: St Jacut - From La Gare turn left towards Languenan. Use one way system and take D26 to St Jacut for choice of 4+ sandy beaches.

Pictures above are of Saint Jacut beaches. The first of which is an island you can explore at low tide!

b) Nearest shops: Corseul. Including a very good bakers and a mini mart.

c) Nearest Supermarkets:

i) Super U in Plancoet: from Corseul take the main road to Plancoet. Follow the one way system to the top of the town and the supermarket.

ii) Outskirts of Dinan: from Corseul take D794 toward Dinan. At roundabout before McDonalds turn left for Champion. Or take next right for Le Clerc.

 d) Travelling to the centre of Dinan: At busy times you can avoid congestion on the D794 by driving to Languenan, taking D26 towards Dinan and turning right at the juction with the D2 just before you get get to the town.
